Texas State Professor finds Lost Lewis Manuscript
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009In the last few years, we’ve had a lot of lost manuscripts begin to surface from the likes of C.S. Lewis’ friend J.R.R. Tolkien. From The Children of Hurin to The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun, the wealth of literature from Tolkien has been expanded greatly, and it’s about time that something new from Lewis has been discovered. Communications Professor Steven Beebe of Texas State discovered a lost manuscript fragment in Oxford University’s Bodleian Library.
Interview with Narnia Storyboard Artist Tom Nelson

He speaks about his time working on the Narnia films, as well as working with both Andrew Adamson and Michael Apted. He also goes into how he got into storyboarding as well as the process of storyboarding. He’s storyboarded on both Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. William Moseley Inspires Students

I was witness to him speaking to one of the less fortunate folks on a street in New York. It really was a great display of his character as a person. This is just another example as Chronicles of Narnia star William Moseley backed a series of pioneering children’s workshops.
Gollum to star in Focus on the Family’s “Screwtape Letters” Radio Drama
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009This comes to us late, but NarniaFans learned today that Andy Serkis, best known for playing the duplicitous Gollum in the Lord of the Rings, will be voicing the diabolical Screwtape in Focus on the Family Radio Theater’s upcoming adaptation of CS Lewis’s classic, The Screwtape Letters.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition will open Memorial Day weekend at Union Station Kansas City. The Station becomes the third museum and first in the Midwest to host this exhibition. The Becker Group, Ltd., which recently combined operations with Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, produced the exhibition in partnership with Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media. Based on the blockbuster film series and C.S. Lewis’ beloved fictional books, the 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art entertainment and educational experience offers visitors the opportunity to tour scenes from the famed literary world of Narnia. Through authentic costumes, props and set dressings from the magical Narnia films, visitors will enter a three dimensional world that combines the wonders of science with aspects of fantasy.
