David Vallon talks Dawn Treader role
Friday, September 11th, 2009For David Vallon, going to work is a slightly different experience than it is for most people. The Springfield Lakes-based actor has been performing since he was a child, but most recently has been cast in the upcoming third installment of the Narnia series, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is currently being filmed on Brisbane’s bayside.
Dawn Treader Set Photos: Eustace and Minotaur…and more video
Friday, September 11th, 2009Narnia Fans Spy Kerrie wrote in with more pictures from the set of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This time, featuring some amazing shots of a Minotaur and Eustace (Will Poulter) on board the Dawn Treader. If these photos are from a scene in the film, it looks like Eustace and the Minotaur could be friends, unless the Minotaur is carrying out punishment on him. This is all complete speculation on my part, based only on three stills that you can see here.

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’s cast keeps filling up as they’ve cast the role of Ramandu’s Daughter in an Aussie actress called Laura Brent. She’s an actress that has been in some small roles, but there was likely something particularly special about her that caught the eye of the casting director. She’s likely another up-and-coming actress, having appeared in an Australian tv series called Chandon Pictures and a small role in the film Message from the CEO.
Spectators Allowed for Dawn Treader filming at Cleveland Point
Wednesday, August 19th, 2009In an event unlike anything I’ve ever heard of, spectators will be allowed to watch the filming of some scenes in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader when it films at Cleveland Point. They’ve even built a grandstand for the occasion. It’s unclear what viewers will be able to see, but rather than having people crowding around the fences during the filming, they’ve opted to make a safe place, as well as donate to charity with the event.
Ben Barnes as King Caspian
Tuesday, August 18th, 2009A few days ago some pictures surfaced that included Ben Barnes as King Caspian, and Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. While those pictures have, for the most part, disappeared from the web (they’re only available by purchase from TitoMedia), one of them has been posted by a British tabloid called The Sun. We don’t have permission to post any of these images, so we kindly ask that you do not post it here in the comments or in the forums.
We’ll post whatever images that we are allowed to post, as soon as we’re allowed to, however, including spy photos.
If you want to see the image, take a look here: Sail away with magic of Narnia.
