Anna Popplewell, who stars as Susan in the blockbuster Chronicles of Narnia movies, will be attending both days of the Spring Memorabilia Show at Birmingham’s NEC.
Anna, played the second eldest of the Pevensie children, in the movie franchise of the popular book series Narnia by CS Lewis. Susan first journeys to the magical land of Narnia in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’, where her common sense and skill at archery play a major role in defeating the White Witch.
The film’s 2008 sequel, ‘Prince Caspian’, sees Susan and her siblings return to a very different world, where the talking animals have been driven into hiding and Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to the Telmarine throne, has been usurped by his evil uncle.

NarniaFans has just learned that Aslan voice actor Liam Neeson has decided to apply for US citizenship. In an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC’s Good Morning America he said that he has lived in America for twenty years and that the country has been good to him. He cites the outpooring of support from fans following the death of his wife Natasha Richardson a few monthes ago, as his main reason for coming to this decision.

It’s stories like this that really show just how cool the actors are, from the Chronicles of Narnia. William Moseley is a true class act. I was witness to him speaking to one of the less fortunate folks on a street in New York. It really was a great display of his character as a person. This is just another example as Chronicles of Narnia star William Moseley backed a series of pioneering children’s workshops.

Sorry that this week’s mailbag is a day late. I had some business to attend to. Namely, there were ghosts to be busted, and I was the best Ghostbuster for the job. On Tuesday, a game that I had been waiting for most of my life to play was finally released. Not only that, but it was released in roughly three variations, two of which I know for sure used the actors from the original movies. Ghostbusters The Video Game was released for most systems, of which I got it for Xbox 360 and Wii as well as DS. I have beaten the game on the 360, and just started playing the Wii version, which is a very different experience from the 360 version so far. And I’ve loved almost every minute of it, save for some small problems, and the difficulty level of the game when sometimes, even on easy. When I was 8 or 9, I went to the arcade (!) to play the Ghostbusters game, only to be disappointed by it for not having a similar style of play to that of the movie, and it’s about time they’ve made the game that I dreamed up at such a young age. But this isn’t what you’re here to read about, you want to hear answer to Narnia fan mail, so here we go.

For this week’s Mailbag, I looked in my inbox and realized a couple of things: first, there was only one e-mail for this week’s mailbag. I could take this to mean that it’s not a good feature to bring back, but that would be ridiculous. I enjoy the chance to answer e-mails and also to put my own voice into the site just a little bit.
On a related note, I share Andrew Adamson’s birthday. Who knew? Andrew, if you’re reading this, that must be the reason we have similar creative minds.
