Aslan’s Country interviews Publicist Ernie Malik

Narnia fan site Aslan’s Country has taken the time to interview publicist Ernie Malik about the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  They ask many pointed questions and get some solid answers of yes or no.  Every answer is short and to the point, though, even if it is a non-answer from time to time.

Cy: How closely related are the Dawn Treader movie and the Dawn Treader book?

Ernie: The film is based on the book, and the adaptation is faithful to the source material.

Cy: Could you confirm whether WETA workshop is involved with the Dawn Treader?

Ernie: WETA is not involved.

Cy: The Lady of the Green Kirtle (the witch from the Silver Chair) won’t be in this film, will she?

Ernie: She will not.

Cy: What is the unfathomable fate that‘s been rumored of lately?

Ernie: A plot point is all I can say.

Cy: Will the Dawn Treader be filming at all in New Zealand?

Ernie: Location shots of White Island off the Bay of Plenty (without cast).

Cy: What will be the main focus of Dawn Treader?

Ernie: The structure of the book’s story remains in place in the film.
