Dawn Treader Videos: Dragon Attack, Eustace and the Minotaur and Drinian
September 15th, 2009 by Paul MartinThere have been many more videos posted from the set of the Dawn Treader over the last week. I was hoping to get to these earlier, but I’ve been editing videos almost non-stop in preparation for a trip I have coming up on Friday.
I’m hoping my news team can pick up the slack while I’m gone for about 2 weeks.
Anyway, this first video shows Drinian at the helm of the Dawn Treader:
Here’s a better look at the Dragon attack on the Dawn Treader. If you’re avoiding spoilers, avoid this one. It seems like this is definitely one of the departures from the book that we know about, aside from Caspian and Edmund’s swordfight on the deck.
And here’s another video from xxchamaraxx, featuring Eustace running into a Minotaur on the boat. What is he running from? Reepicheep? It’s fun to speculate!

My dad got to go on the Dawn Treader today! But he wasn’t allowed to take photos
LUCKY!!!!!!!!!
thanks so much for the footage but please
someone explain to me why there was a
”dragon attack”???????
help
If i remember it correctly (from the book), the dragon was actually Eustace who got transformed when he stayed in an enchanted cave in the island where they docked, after the Dawn Treader got destroyed by a storm earlier. When Eustace-turned-dragon went back to the ship, King Caspian and the rest of the crew thought he was another dragon out to attack them. So there, apparently a dragon attack…
yes eustace turned into a dragon and they didn’t know at first, but there was a sea-serpent attack after they left the island where eustace was a dragon and he was restored by Aslan
