Boy, I thought for sure that it was a red rampant lion on the Disney castle flag. In the theater, I remember thinking, "Wow, that is really cool! Disney is really getting into the Narnian spirit!" That is weird that it is not in the DVD version.

Yeah, it was definitely red. I remember sitting there thinking, "Wow, that's a nice touch!" However, that was the first Disney movie I saw with the new shot of the Disney castle. So the crest that now appears on the flag could have confused me, but I really think that what I saw! :)

"Anyway, any time I see it, it makes me think of the rampant lion of Narnia!"

Me too =)

To whoever saw the rampant lion in theater, was it red?

I have the regular widescreen version of Prince Caspian; I can't tell if the Disney castle flag has a rampant lion on it or not. I think probably not (I saw the movie yesterday), but the flag does appear to have a sort of golden lion-like design on it. Anyway, any time I see it, it makes me think of the rampant lion of Narnia!

About the Narnia flag on the opening shot of the Disney castle:

When I was at the premiere of PC in Bovec (Slovenia) I filmed the opening, so I thought I should take a look at it, unfortunately it's a very dark video and I couldn't distinguish much. However I used a program to brighten it up but it's still not very clear. I don't think it was there though, at least not in the slovenian version of the film. The shape doesn't look like the rampant lion more like the usual disney stuff that's in the flag (can't really make out what it is from the dvd).

Anyway, when I went to see it the second time in the cinema this time, I remember taking care to look for it, but honestly I can't remember if I saw it or not. Part of me says yes, it was there but then part of me says no because I remember not being sure if what I saw was what the fans described. Basically I think it really wasn't there. I know I would have recognized the lion right away, especially considering I was looking for it. Anyway, if there's any slovenian fans reading this who paid attention to this detail during the film please let me know if it were there or not, I'm really curious!

Anyway, it's too bad they didn't include it on the dvd. I would have loved to see it.
