The essays have also been a great inspiration to me as well. I orginally read the shorter fiction pieces in The Dark Tower and other Stories and I must say I think “After Ten Years” could have been Lewis' best work EVER. Even the little bit we have I treasure as an amazing piece of fiction--and knowing the direction it was going just makes it absolutely brilliant. I love this collection.
