White Witch Tops List of Villains

In a Penguin Books survey, the White Witch tops the list of scariest characters of all time in children’s books.
Amazingly, it wasn’t children, but over 600 adults surveyed who identified the top ten scariest characters in children’s literature. The White Witch of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe ranks number one, followed by villains such as Captain Hook and Cruella de Vil. You can read the entire top ten list here.
