Academy Award Update
January 6th, 2009 by MikeThe Los Angeles Times reports that “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” has been eliminated from consideration for two Academy Awards: Best Visual Effects and Best Makeup. The visual effects finalists have been announced while as of this writing the best makeup nominees are not official.
No word yet on Best Song.

Ugg! Ugg! Ugg! I don’t know who decides this but they are certainly very dense!
William Moseley should have gotten an Oscar for Peter. That boy did a great job.
I am not too disappointed as Oscars very rarely notice my favorite movies. I agree about Peter – William Moseley was simply amazing.
He was okay, but definitely not Oscar-worthy. I don’t think many people understand what an Oscar-worthy performance is….
Anyway, Prine Caspian should totally have been in the Visual Effects, Makeup, and Best Song categories! =(
